No Bully Zone!
Did you know that the Town of Sylvan Lake has a Community Standards Bylaw which includes a section on Bullying including fines.
21.0 BULLYING
21.1 No person shall bully any person in any public place.
21.2 No person shall participate in or encourage by verbal or public
means in the bullying of any person in any public place.
21.3 No person shall bully any person by written or electronically
transmitted devices.
21.4 Any person who contravenes Sections 21.1, 21.2 or 21.3 is guilty of
an offence.

Introducing: The Flipside!
Here are some things you should know about The Flipside (formerly Youth Drop-In Centre) programs coming this Fall:
1. Afterschool programs will run 3:30-5:30 pm Monday-Friday and participants must be in grades 3-5 to attend (no exceptions).
2. All participants MUST have a completed Membership Form signed by a parent BEFORE attending any program.
3. Participants in the afterschool program will not be permitted to leave the program unless they have written consent from a parent to leave on their own or until a parent picks them up.
4. Evening programs are as follows:
Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30 - Girl Power - Grades 6-8
Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30 - Youth Advisory Council - Grades 6+
Thursdays, 6:30-8:30 - Boyz Unlimited - Grades 6-8
Fridays - 6:30-9:00 - Special Events - Grades 6+
